Ana Maria was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, but took a leap of faith and moved to New Jersey to chase her dream of working in radio. She kicked off her radio career at Kean University, hosting a lively show called "The Reggaeton Mix" on WKNJ 90.3FM.
Ana Maria's journey in radio led her to some of NYC's biggest stations. She started out as a promotions manager and on-air producer at WKTU 103.5FM, and then rocked the airwaves at WSKQ La Mega 97.9FM, where she became known for her fun persona on the popular "El Vacilón de la Mañana" show.
In 2008, Ana Maria launched "El Jangueo con Ana Maria," airing Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm, and later extended her show to 3pm to 7pm on La Fiesta 98.5FM. As Program Director at La Fiesta for the past 5 years, Ana Maria has shown her dedication and love for radio.
Adding to her achievements, Ana Maria was named Promotions Director for the JVC Broadcasting New York Cluster, showing her versatility and energy in the industry. She embodies the spirit of radio, blending passion, dedication, and creativity to connect with audiences everywhere.
